Corruption, as one of the fundamental challenges in societies, poses a serious threat to sustainable development, social justice, and the rule of law. This issue becomes even more critical in societies facing a lack of legal awareness and insufficient transparency in laws and processes. The aim of this research is to identify effective mechanisms for enhancing legal awareness, improving transparency, and strengthening reporting systems to prevent financial and administrative corruption. The findings of the study indicate that promoting legal knowledge, ensuring transparency in legal processes, and creating secure platforms for reporting violations are key tools for reducing corruption. Increasing legal knowledge prevents abuse of power, financial violations and discrimination in providing public services. Moreover, providing legal protection for whistleblowers, establishing safe reporting mechanisms, and strengthening informational and educational infrastructures play a significant role in improving institutional accountability and fostering public trust. This study is theoretical in nature and employs a descriptive-analytical methodology. The overall conclusion highlights that access to legal information and the implementation of transparent systems can effectively reduce corruption by strengthening social participation and increasing institutional accountability. Therefore, policymakers are encouraged to emphasize legal awareness and transparency as long-term strategies to combat corruption in their planning and decision-making processes.
