Crimes against state lands are among the country's serious legal, economic, and environmental challenges, which are accompanied by consequences such as destruction of natural resources, weakening of public ownership, and social distrust. These crimes usually include illegal seizure, change of use, forgery of documents, unauthorized purchase and sale, and destruction of national and state lands. In many cases, the weakness in accurately identifying state ownership, lack of effective supervision, and lack of coordination between the responsible institutions lead to the occurrence of these violations. The question raised in this research is what are the types of crimes against state lands and ways to prevent these crimes? This study aims to examine the various dimensions of crimes against state lands, analyze the underlying causes, and provide preventive solutions. It attempts to provide an analytical approach to provide a suitable basis for improving policymaking and executive actions in this area. The importance of this issue is doubled given the vital role of natural resources in sustainable development and public rights. The findings confirm that to combat these crimes, solutions such as official registration and transparency of ownership, strengthening field surveillance, utilizing modern surveillance technologies, public awareness, and public participation in land protection are suggested. Also, amending existing laws and expediting judicial proceedings play an important role in deterrence.
