Abstract
Gender inequality in women's employment in province is one of the fundamental challenges in the path of sustainable development of the region, which stems from economic, social and political factors. From an economic perspective, the lack of supportive policies, limited job opportunities and the focus of development plans on men-oriented jobs have significantly reduced the share of women in the labour market. From a social perspective, traditional beliefs and tribal culture have limited the role of women in family spheres and have confronted their employment with numerous obstacles, including negative social attitudes, lack of family support and lack of social infrastructure. In the political dimension, weakness in the implementation of national laws, lack of localized policies and lack of job quotas for women have increased the severity of inequality. This research, emphasizing documentary analysis and lived experiences in the province, shows that the complex interaction between these factors has not only prevented women's active presence in the economic arena but also led to the consolidation of inequalities in executive and social structures. To reduce these inequalities, it is necessary to adopt a multidimensional approach that includes reviewing economic policies, changing cultural attitudes, and effectively implementing gender equality laws. Achieving gender equity in employment requires collaboration between the government, local institutions, and society to create equal opportunities, empower women, and change the province's socio-economic structures.
