Abstract
The Code of French Procedure was drafted in 1804 and introduced to the criminal justice system as the Napoleonic Code. This law was basically formulated according to the needs of France at that time. This law has been frequently changed and updated since its inception. Since this law has been used as a good indicator for most countries that do not follow the customary law with subsequent amendments, according to studies conducted in the French Code of Criminal Procedure, the last amendment of which was implemented in 2010 from a Suffers a series of important shortcomings and weaknesses, which is a good incentive to address the challenges of this law in this article, the main purpose of writing this article is to address some of the weaknesses and shortcomings of criminal procedure in the latest version of 2010. This article shows in an analytical-descriptive way that the French Code of Criminal Procedure has long, repetitive and exaggerated materials.
