Piracy is simply any illegal act of violence by a private (non-governmental) ship in the high seas against another ship with the intention of looting. Piracy is one of the topics that has not been seriously addressed and has been neglected. It is for this reason that the mentalities of this phenomenon have remained in their most superficial form. In fact, there is more or less piracy in the waters of the world, and some people rob commercial ships with specific goals and according to their needs, which is a special terrorism applied to commercial ships. The importance of piracy is not because the thieves are defeated, but it can be processed because, firstly, most of the economic and commercial exchanges of countries take place through the sea, and secondly, few people believe that piracy still exists and is being carried out. The increasing growth of piracy in recent years, especially on the coast of Somalia, has led to various global reactions. Several countries, including Iran, have sent their naval forces to the Gulf of Aden and the coast of Somalia in an effort to protect international shipping and, of course, their commercial interests.
